About the role

The role involves independently performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including the proper administration of contrast media, while adhering to scope of practice and licensure for medication administration and equipment operation. This position also requires coordinating patient flow and maintaining CT equipment in good working condition.

Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.

Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.

Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner.

Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition.

May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs.

May have on call responsibilities.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and hold required certifications including CPR and ODH licensure, with ARRT RT (R) registry mandatory and CT registry preferred. While no prior job experience is required, one year of specialized CT experience or additional training is preferred.
