Key responsibilities include performing physical exams, collecting histories, placing IV catheters, monitoring anesthesia during surgery, and assisting with various diagnostic procedures. Technicians will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and educating clients on care.
Candidates should be prepared to utilize their invested knowledge, whether they are seasoned Registered Veterinary Technicians or recent graduates. Required tasks involve a wide range of medical and surgical support, including dental procedures and administering prescribed treatments.
$21 -26/hr and the starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
