The Speech Language Pathologist will directly participate in the evaluation, care plan development, and delivery of treatment interventions for swallowing and communication disorders, adhering to state practice guidelines. Key responsibilities include providing screenings, implementing functional treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, maintaining records, and collaborating with various staff and community members.
Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited Speech Language Pathology program and possess a current, valid Speech Language Pathologist license for the appropriate state. Essential abilities include excellent communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Education and Experience: Successful completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. License and Certification: Current valid Speech Language Pathologist license to practice in appropriate state.
