The role involves performing imaging procedures under physician direction to create scanograms and measure radionuclide concentrations according to professional standards. Responsibilities include administering prescribed radioactive dosages, positioning equipment and patients for diagnostic images, and administering pre-medication and radiopharmaceuticals.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and graduation from an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Program, along with one to two years of experience. Licensure by the Rhode Island Department of Health and ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certification are required, along with current CPR (BLS) certification.

Under the direction of a qualified physician, performs imaging procedures to produce scanograms and measures concentration of radionuclides in specified body areas, according to technical and processional standard. Measures radioactive dosage prescribed for patient with dose calibrator. Positioning of equipment and patient to produce diagnostic quality images. Administration of pre-medication and radiopharmaceuticals.
Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
Experience: One to two years experience
Licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health. Certified ARRT (N) and/ or CNMT registered. CPR certification (BLS) required and ACLS preferred.
