This role involves performing various secretarial and administrative duties for physicians, primarily through extensive patient contact, covering clinical, billing, and administrative tasks. Essential duties include managing patient appointments, coordinating preoperative and surgical schedules, handling billing information like diagnosis codes, and maintaining physician licensure records.
Candidates must possess a high school degree or equivalent, along with knowledge of medical terminology and a minimum of three years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare. Required skills include experience with patient records, billing, scheduling in a clinical setting, and a typing speed of 50-60 WPM.
