This role involves administering the physical therapy program, including training and oversight of PT tech staff, and following the Plan of Care directed by the Physical Therapist. The assistant will supervise and administer treatment to patients, helping them adjust to physical limitations while maximizing their capabilities.
Candidates must have graduated from a Physical Therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association and hold a current Physical Therapist Assistant license from the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board. A minimum of five years of practical physical therapy assistant experience is required, with a preference for experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal disciplines.

This position is a professional licensed Physical Therapy Assistant position which provides Assistant services to the Physical Therapists and leadership to the Techs of the Physical Therapy Department, including Inpatient and Outpatient services, supervision of assigned staff and direct physical therapy care to eligible patients. This is a PRN position.
Computer skills with emphasis in Microsoft Office Programs. Organization and time management. Oral and written communications. Knowledge of team building and dynamics.
