The Radiologic Technologist sets up radiographic equipment and assists in angiographic procedures while ensuring quality control of images. They also prepare patients and support the cath lab staff and physicians to facilitate efficient operations.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification, along with 1-2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology. Basic Life Support certification is also required within three months of hire.
Qualified Candidates may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000 This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images, assists in preparing patient for procedures and assists other members of the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians as needed to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.
