The Urgent Care Technician supports Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine by performing clerical and clinical duties, including accurate patient registration, intake, and preparation for clinical visits. Duties also involve performing point-of-care testing, specimen collection following chain-of-custody protocols, and assisting nursing staff and providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this full-time position, which mandates working weekend and holiday shifts along with covering vacations. Basic computer skills are necessary, and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
