Patient Care Technician - Float

Work Schedule

90% FTE, 3–12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays night shift. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St. We are looking for a Patient Care Technician to:

• Provide direct patient care in a hands-on, fast-paced setting. Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams to support patient needs. Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $3/ hr evening, $4/ hr night, and $3.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked. Qualifications

Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Work Experience Computer experience. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG. Required Bi-Annual CPR designation by recommended renewal date.
