The role involves supporting pharmacy services across the Madison area, including mail services, specialty pharmacy, and prior authorizations. Responsibilities also include pharmacy administration and compounding in a non-clinical setting.

Work Schedule

  • 100% FTE. Day Shift. Monday – Friday;
  • Hours range 7:00AM – 6:00PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking Pharmacy Technician Specialist to

Experience a well-rounded view of pharmacy services, including mail services, specialty pharmacy, medication histories, and prior authorizations.

Help support our pharmacy services across the entire Madison area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
  • Work Experience
  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma and Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire. Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or 6 months of experience is preferred.
