The technologist is responsible for executing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within the department, at the bedside, and in the operating room, including those requiring contrast agents. This role involves assisting physicians during procedures, using independent judgment for complex situations, and ensuring the technical quality of all evaluated images.
Candidates must possess the ARRT certification, a Delaware state license in Radiology Technology, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The position requires working rotating 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
