About the role

The Psychiatrist will help lead the developing co-occurring disorders program across all levels of care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with substance use and other mental disorders. Responsibilities also include enhancing mental health care delivery and educating staff on best practices for managing co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

Hiring for full and part-time addiction psychiatrist in Center City, MN. Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is seeking an addiction psychiatrist to help lead their developing co-occurring disorders program, including all levels of care from residential to outpatient. At Hazelden Betty Ford, you will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals who assess and treat patients with substance use and other mental disorders collaboratively to ensure the best possible holistic treatment for our patients. Participate in enhancing mental health care delivery in a world-renowned addiction treatment setting, educating staff on best practices in the management of co-occurring disorders and implementing truly integrated care. #PM24

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Doctorate (MD) Current license to practice medicine in appropriate state Board certified, certified in addiction medicine or board eligible in a medical specialty If board eligible, must be board certified or certified in addiction medicine prior to the re-credentialing in two years. Addiction related medical practice or equivalent/related experience Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check DEA Certificate Current BLS certification Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Usd $264,141.00 - Usd $384,905.00 /Yr.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctorate (MD) and a current license to practice medicine in the appropriate state, along with being Board Certified or Board Eligible in a medical specialty, with certification required within two years if eligible.
