The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This includes performing focused assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement the patient's plan of care.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program, along with two years of relevant experience in an acute care setting. Required certifications include current state licensure as an LVN/LPN, current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, and completion of Pedagogy IV Certification within 30 days of hire.
