Provides advanced clinical and administrative support, including patient examinations, medication administration, and medical record management. Coordinates patient flow, handles billing and coding, and ensures compliance with healthcare safety regulations.
Requires a high school diploma or associate degree and 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. Certification from an accredited program (CMA or equivalent) including phlebotomy is preferred.
The Medical Assistant II provides advanced clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and patients. This role involves a combination of patient care, administrative duties, and the management of complex tasks in the medical office or clinical setting.
