The Radiologic Technologist applies ionizing radiation for diagnosis and operates specialized fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment. Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing IV injections, and collaborating with physicians in emergency, inpatient, and operating room settings.
Candidates must be a high school graduate and a graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology. Required certifications include ARRT registry (or eligibility) and AHA BLS-HCP.
Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required.
