The Registered Nurse provides competent nursing care in the Cardiac ICU, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care. Responsibilities include managing high-acuity patients with heart failure, sepsis, and shock, while serving as part of the hospital's Medical Response Team.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing and a valid Virginia or Compact RN license. Required experience includes ICU experience, one year of Intermediate/Stepdown care, or up to two years of Med/Surg or ED experience.
