The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care across integrated settings including the hospital, primary care clinic, and nursing home, managing patients across the care continuum to ensure continuity and quality. This role involves delivering evidence-based clinical care for both outpatient and inpatient services, and overseeing long-term care residents in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and have completed an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, achieving board certification or eligibility. Applicants must also be eligible for or licensed in Wisconsin, possess DEA registration, and hold Basic Life Support certification.
Description Burnett Medical Center is seeking a full-time primary care physician to provide care to our hospital and clinic patients, and nursing home residents.
Full-time, M-F with some evenings and weekends.
Provides comprehensive medical care across the organization’s integrated care settings, including the hospital, primary care clinic, and Continuing Care Center (nursing home). This role is responsible for the ongoing management of patients across the care continuum, emphasizing continuity, quality, and coordination of care.
Delivers evidence-based clinical care, manages both outpatient and inpatient services, and provides medical oversight for long-term care residents. The position works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care, while supporting organizational goals related to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
