The Certified Medication Aide will dispense prescribed oral, topical, and rectal medications according to physician orders and company policy while monitoring residents for adverse reactions. This role also requires accurate documentation of all medication administration and immediate reporting of any errors to the Charge Nurse.
Candidates must possess a current Texas Medication Aide certification and demonstrate competence in medication administration procedures. Essential qualities include clear communication, patience, discipline, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
