About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider will function as a clinical expert in pediatric neurology, delivering comprehensive, family-centered care while collaborating closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. This new, full-time position is 100% inpatient, focused on supporting expanding neurology needs due to programmatic growth and increasing volume.

About CHOC Children’s Specialists CHOC Children’s Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group within RCH–Orange (CHOC), composed of more than 450 physicians and advanced practice providers across 26 pediatric subspecialties.

This is a new position tied to programmatic growth and increasing inpatient volume, identified through a business plan currently in progress.

The APP will function as a clinical expert in pediatric neurology, delivering comprehensive, family-centered care while collaborating closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

This role is 100% inpatient and is not tied to headache services, with a primary focus on supporting expanding inpatient neurology needs.

Candidate Qualifications Required: Active California NP or PA license National board certification DEA registration Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and ACLS Pediatric clinical experience Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Core Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Commitment to high-quality, safe, and family-centered care Compensation & Benefits CHOC Children’s Specialists offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Competitive compensation CME allowance Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution, independent of salary deduction

Salary Range

$141,794 – $233,958 Compensation is determined by multiple factors, including experience, education, skills, internal equity, and position requirements.
