The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide full-scope nurse-midwifery services including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, well woman care, and family planning according to established protocols. Responsibilities also include performing exams, managing illnesses in collaboration with physicians, ordering tests, and providing emotional support during labor and loss.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or higher in nursing specializing in midwifery, along with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license and CNM certification by the AMCB. Two or more years of experience as a Nurse Midwife or Labor and Delivery Nurse is preferred, along with preferred Illinois license, DEA, and CDS.
Master's degree or higher education in nursing with a specialization in midwifery. Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM) by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Preferred Illinois license, DEA, and CDS 2+ years of experience working as a Nurse Midwife or as a Labor and Delivery Nurse preferred.
