The occupational therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patient function. They collaborate with physicians to establish treatment programs and provide ongoing patient education.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Effective communication skills and a customer service focus are also required.
