The Physical Therapist is responsible for establishing and administering treatment plans to restore function and improve mobility for patients. They collaborate with other disciplines to set achievable goals and document patient progress according to regulations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program and possess a current state license and CPR certification. Six months of experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
A physical therapist provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of residents/patients suffering from injuries or disease.
