As an Echo Technologist, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. You will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data while ensuring patient comfort.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, two dimensional, color flow mapping, cardiac doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophageal echo, stress testing, EKG, and Holter application.

Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians.

Maintains echo equipment Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed Job Requirements Required Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medical-sciences and mathematics., upon hire and Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours of in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days Preferred Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiovascular ultrasound

Requirements

A minimum of two years of college with an emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics is required, along with verifiable completion of 18 contact hours in clinical Echocardiography. Candidates must also obtain relevant certifications within 12 months of hire.
