You can contribute pre-tax or after-tax (Roth) towards your retirement savings.Flexible Spending AccountsBasic Life and AD&DSupplemental Life and AD&DShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityAccident & Critical Illness InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFinancial and time-off reimbursement for continuing medical educationStudent loan repayment potential - HPSA score 24Our Mission is to provide a quality, integrated healthcare home to the communities we serveSupervision Received:Works under the direct supervision of the Center Operations Director and the Vice President of Medical Services – Behavioral HealthSupervision Exercised if Unlicensed:NoneSupervision Exercised if Licensed:May supervise unlicensed behavioral health providers as assignedSpecific Duties:Assesses patients to determine the appropriate level of treatment in accordance with relevant ethical and legal standardsThe BHP acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable population by ensuring that the patient is fully informed and comfortable with their visit to SaludWorks in conjunction with Medical Providers, Dental Providers, other Behavioral Health Providers, Medical Assistants, Customer Service Associates, and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated health careProvides services appropriate to the age-specific needs of all patients in accordance with the principles of growth and development for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric life cyclesConducts mental health screenings utilizing standardized instrumentsProvides PCP-initiated consultation services that may include differential diagnosis, psychoeducation, brief intervention, referral for further treatment, etc.Consults with and advises other healthcare team members on methods of assisting patients and their families in overcoming social and emotional difficulties which may prevent effective healthcareFollow procedures for the electronic health records systemManages psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseasesProvides psychotherapy to individualsQualificationsEducation:Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or equivalentExperience:Prefer 2 years post-licensure treating patients with psychosocial issuesLicensure:Must be licensed by the State of Colorado within 3 years from the date of hireKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Fluency in Spanish and English is requiredExcellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditionsMust work well with the other patient care team membersAbility to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate assessments of mental and behavioral health conditionsAbility to collaborate with medical providers in the treatment of psychosocial issuesSensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a mustThe application window is anticipated to close by 7/31/26Additional InformationSalud Family Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
