Performs patient care and clinical tasks under the direction of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory oncology setting. Responsibilities include gathering patient data, administering medications, and coordinating patient scheduling and education.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program or one year of applicable experience. Must hold a current BLS certification and a valid national Medical Assistant certification (e.g., CCMA, CMA, RMA).
