The RN-Nurse Practitioner practices autonomously and collaborates with healthcare professionals to manage patient health problems. Responsibilities include developing care plans, using prescriptive authority, and enhancing nursing practice quality.
Candidates must have either a Master's or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner and current certification. Computer literacy is required, and an RN license is preferred.
Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient's health problems and serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illness and disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
