As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will implement care plans and facilitate patient progress under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. You will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and achieve individual goals.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold an active PTA license in the state of practice. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and experience with the geriatric population are preferred.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Key Rehab, you will: Implement Care Plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring adherence to established protocols. Advance Patient Progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.
Accredited Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active Licensure: Current PTA license in the state of practice. Ethical Compliance: Adherence to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as state and federal regulations.
Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions. Flexibility and Team Collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs. Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
