Assist the physician in scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is prepared and participate in departmental meetings and training of new staff.
Candidates must have ARRT-R certification and a state license, with previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred. BCLS certification is required upon hire, and ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Certified to operate fluoro/pan with Fluoro CA license addendum. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. ARRT-R and license as required by State. 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology; preferred. 3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. 6. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $42.01 to $61.30. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
