Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive; employees will perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or hospital administration as required. Responsible for performing and/or assist the neurologists will all procedures performed in the EEG department. Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality at all times. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrate business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines. Perform all exams in the EEG department. Document exams done in the department. Assist the Chief EEG Technician as necessary. Maintain an accurate filing system. Handle in-patient and out-patient reports and direct them to the appropriate destination. Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies. Maintain equipment in good working order. Participate in department and hospital-wide Process Improvement Activities.​ Education, Experience: (required) High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must hold R. EEG T certification ​License, Certification: (required) Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T) Certification - Required Certified Long-Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM) - Preferred

Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience. A Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T) certification is strictly required for this role.
