The Sonographer will perform high-quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound images while interacting professionally with patients, physicians, and staff. This role also requires maintaining ultrasound equipment and applying knowledge of emergency protocols to maximize safety.

Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound images. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Maintains ultrasound equipment in optimum working condition. Applies knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment. Work Schedule: Floating to different clinics on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday's day shift – start time can vary from 6:45am to 10am. Wednesday's, at St. Louis Park, 11:30am - 8pm. Rotating weekend every 12-14 weeks at the Burnsville Clinic. Float Locations: Central South Required Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent Must be willing to participate in continuing education to remain current on technical advances as they occur. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Registered in RDMS and RVT within 6 months of hire required. Must maintain current CPR skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have a strong anatomy and physiology background. Ability to assess results, problem solve, and use independent judgment. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Must have proven ability to operate the following safely and efficiently: Ultrasound equipment, Fax, Telephone, PC, Printer, and Photocopier.
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Additional specialized training or at least one year of ultrasound experience preferred
