The OB RN provides general nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as to the mother/baby couplet. Key responsibilities include direct patient care, education on breastfeeding, and communication with physicians and nursing supervisors.
Candidates must have a minimum of an associate degree in nursing and maintain a current RN license in North Dakota. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation are required, with specific timelines for completion if not already certified.
