Produces high-frequency ultrasonic recordings of the circulatory system to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and malfunctions. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating ultrasound equipment, and recording diagnostic data in the PACS system.
Requires a high school diploma and at least two ARDMS registries, including Vascular (RVT). Candidates must have current CPR certification and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
This position produces high-frequency waves (two-dimensional) ultrasonic recordings of circulatory system use by physicians in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of the circulatory system. This level III also includes any Float Ultrasound Technologist that provides coverage for positions that are out due to illness or paid time off.
