About the Role

• As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team by performing diagnostic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
• Your expertise in operating radiographic equipment will ensure high-quality images are captured while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
• You will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring they understand the importance of following instructions.
• Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiology program.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or must obtain within one (1) year of hire date.
• BLS certified or must obtain within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist during fluoroscopy exams with and without contrast studies, assisting Physicians in surgery and the emergency room, and obtaining routine daily radiographs.
• Clinical Instructor responsibilities with the radiology clinical affiliations.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other radiographic techniques.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and adhering to safety protocols.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and any relevant patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and assist in patient care planning.
