The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' needs, determine appropriate medications and treatments, and maintain patient charts in compliance with regulations. They will also coordinate services with medical professionals and work alongside a Gastroenterologist.
Candidates must have a current, unrestricted license to practice in the U.S. and at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A valid BLS certification and a minimum of three years of relevant experience are also required.

We are tasked with staffing The Overton Brooks VA Healthcare System with Gastroenterology Physician Assistants and or Nurse Practitioners. The PAs/NPs is expected to do the following: Assess patient's needs and determine appropriate medications and/or treatments for medical conditions Maintain patient charts and documentation in accordance with all state and federal regulations Coordinate services with medical professionals regarding individual needs of patients Work alongside a Gastroenterologist for support Any other duties as assigned
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. at least bachelor's degree in relevant fields Valid BLS at least 3 years of relevant experience
