The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for the daily cleaning of patient rooms, staff offices, halls, and general patient staff areas within the facility. This involves performing essential duties satisfactorily while demonstrating competence in human stages of growth and development.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of patient room, staff offices, halls, and general patient staff areas by performing the following duties. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrates competence in the human stages of growth and development. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree; with six months housekeeping or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken and written word. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands as described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with six months of related housekeeping experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential requirements include the ability to follow detailed instructions, handle standardized problems, communicate effectively, and meet physical demands such as regular lifting and exposure to various environmental conditions.
