We are looking for a dynamic therapist with Chemical Dependency experience to join our award winning Inpatient staff and facilitate an IOP group for chemical dependency.
Job Roles and Responsibilities: As a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, the Inpatient Therapist provides direct patient care including: completion of psychosocial assessments, formulation of treatment plans, provision of psychotherapy groups, crisis safety plans and completion of discharge planning.
The Therapist interfaces with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities.
The therapist will be responsible for maintaining communication with patients’ families and support systems.
The Therapist may participate in crisis intervention situations, where verbal de-escalation techniques and safety planning are required.
The Therapist ensures compliance for quality patient care and compliance with the Joint Commission standards, State Health Department requirements, and all other regulatory standards.
