The registered nurse is responsible for assessing patient clinical status, developing and implementing a nursing plan of care, and evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided. Effective communication and validation of patient care information are also key responsibilities.

Shift: Third
A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (pediatric to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
Active Kentucky RN License.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
