The Interventional Radiology Tech is responsible for positioning patients and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. They also administer contrast media, monitor patient safety, and ensure equipment functionality within the department.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma with 2 years of experience or an associate degree, along with state licensure and BLS certification. Additional requirements include ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography and CCI credentialing.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date required. Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
