The surgical assistant provides intraoperative technical functions such as exposure, hemostasis, and closure under the direction of a surgeon. They ensure safe operations and optimal patient results in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
This position will provide aide and exposure, hemostasis, closure and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. The surgical assistant performs these functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and in accordance with hospital policies and appropriate laws and regulations
