The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with communication, hearing, and language disorders while maintaining detailed clinical records. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree and a current New York State license to practice as a Speech Pathologist. Additionally, ASHA certification and 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience are required.
Evaluates communication disorders and administers therapy treatments for patients with problems associated with hearing, speech, and language disorders. Maintains records, monitors progress, and counsels patients and their family members. Participates in multidisciplinary consultations.
