The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses. They are also responsible for patient education, maintaining medical records, and participating in quality assurance projects.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold a valid Vermont license. A DEA license and relevant national certification are also required for this role.
The Advanced Practice Provider provides comprehensive, high-quality primary care services to a diverse patient population, particularly in underserved communities. This includes diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health management.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
