The RN oversees the medical component of the hospice program, including supervising physician services and ensuring quality patient care. They also perform home visits, conduct patient assessments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
Candidates must be a registered nurse with a current state license and experience in a clinical care setting. Reliable transportation, valid auto liability insurance, and the ability to travel locally are required.

The RN's assumes overall responsibility for the medical component of the Hospice program, including providing oversight of physician services. Supervises all physician employees and those under contract to the Hospice. If the attending physician is unavailable, the medical director, contracted physician, and/or Hospice physician employee is responsible for meeting the medical needs of the patient.
