• What you will Do: Performs routine and trauma x-rays for the clinic, as appropriate to age related needs of the patient.
• Collects x-ray orders and prepares order so x-rays can be processed.
• General Patient Care Provides care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients based on principles of growth and development Acts as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and is highly committed to a team construct.
• Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
• Will be in the same space as the lab assistants and will help back them up by doing/learning the following: Will perform phlebotomy - can be taught.
• Will perform simple lab tests.
• Will process specimens.
• Hours/Schedule: 40 hours a week Day shift

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an approved educational program of x-ray technology American Registry of Radiological Technologists registered; must carry an Iowa Permit to Practice and maintain CEUs. BLS.
