The Home Health Aide performs hands-on personal care and assists with simple procedures, ambulation, and medication administration in patient residences. They also participate in interdisciplinary assessments and the development of patient care plans under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and have completed at least 40 hours of approved Home Health Aide training. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required, along with a CNA certification in Texas.
