The hospice medical social worker is responsible for conducting psychosocial evaluations and providing ongoing counseling to patients and their families. They work in accordance with the plan of care to offer emotional support during the end-of-life journey.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work and possess a current state social worker license. At least two years of clinical experience in healthcare or hospice is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting 25lbs.

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care Education: MS degree in social work from an accredited school of social work approved by the Council of Social Work Education Licensure: Current state license as a social worker Experience: 2+ years of clinical work experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
