Overview Per Diem Neonatal Hospitalist position in Fort Myers, FL!

Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks an experienced, Board Certified (in Pediatrics with recent Neonatal experience) to provide per diem coverage at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The hospital’s NICU offers: State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service Primary responsibilities include managing Level II NICU patients (not responsible for attending high risk deleiveries) All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage 24-hour NNP coverage Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit Our core values support a culture of life-long learning and professional growth Shifts are 6-8 shours (varies regarding daily census and case complexity)

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatrics with recent Neonatal experience. An active Florida medical license or active IMLC is required for this position.
