The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for collecting, preparing, and processing various patient specimens for diagnostic testing. They also manage department workflow, ensure accurate patient identification, and coordinate the distribution of samples to internal and external laboratories.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Phlebotomist certification in Washington. Additionally, Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
