The pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services including the interpretation of physician orders and maintenance of medication profiles. They also participate in medical staff committees, monitor parenteral nutrition, and manage pharmacokinetics dosing.
Candidates must hold a valid Florida Pharmacist License and possess a professional school or college master's degree or higher. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.
Provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients, physicians and staff of UF Health Central Florida. Is involved in various activities that include, but are not limited to: interpretation of physician orders, maintenance of medication profiles and providing drug information; attendance and involvement in varied medical staff committees/meetings; adverse drug reaction reporting and follow-up, therapeutic interchanges, parenteral nutrition monitoring, pharmacokinetics dosing and follow-up, medication dosing and follow-up (ex. coumadin, antibiotics) and IV to PO recommendations.
