Performs patient treatments under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist according to the established treatment plan. Documents all treatments provided, including objective measurements, while maintaining clinical competency across all patient age groups.
Requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and an active state license. Candidates must also hold an AHA BLS certification.
At the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist, performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
