The CT Technologist assists radiologists in performing diagnostic procedures using computerized tomography. They are responsible for working effectively with patients and other clinic personnel to ensure high-quality imaging services.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited Radiology program, and current ARRT registration in Radiography. Additionally, they must hold Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist and BLS certification.
The staff CT Technologist works under general supervision to assist the radiologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients by means of computerized tomography and works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel.
One to three years of experience performing CT, strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, A.R.R.T. certification in CT. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: High School education or equivalent; graduation from an accredited Radiology program, current ARRT registration in Radiography, current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist, BLS for health care workers. WORK SCHEDULE: Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM, PRN
